The brushes are ethically made in the Black Forest of Germany using traditional methods, dating back more than 140 years. The brushes are made using natural bristles and FSC Certified beech wood.

**Did you know you can make your own natural shoe polish, this is how you make it:

You will need:

- 2 tablespoons beeswax

- 1 cup of linseed oil, olive oil or flax seed oil

Combine the olive oil and beeswax in a microwave-safe cup or bowl.

Microwave the cup for 30 seconds, then give it a stir and microwave for another 30 seconds. Repeat until the beeswax has melted completely and is well incorporated.

You can also use a double boiler to heat the mixture, simply use a large pan filled with water and a small pan where you add the oil and wax. It's important to use the double boiler techniques to prevent the wax and oil from overheating.

Mix well, then pour the liquid into your tin, jar, or whatever you’ll be storing you polish in. Allow the liquid to cool and solidify, which should take about an hour or so.

This polish is suitable for leather only (not suede)
